  • DESCRIPTION

    A 1″ single-spring mechanical seal built to the PS-360 footprint, with the same 1.625″ seat and the same BCFJF configuration as the original. It drops into a Pentair EQ or Purex C Series commercial bronze pump using the factory 071725S service position — no shimming and no machining.

    The carbon face is machined from solid stock rather than molded, which is the one place this seal is built above the standard PS-360 it replaces. A machined face runs flatter out of the box and holds that flatness longer against the ceramic, which is what keeps a commercial pump from weeping at the shaft after a season of run hours.

    Fits: Pentair EQ Series and Purex® C Series commercial bronze pool pumps, all models (071725S), plus Berkeley (S-08742, S-09583), Ace Pump BCH-300, BCH-500, BCH-750 and BCH-1000 and models 100S, 133S, 150S and 175S, Carter (2S-5050, 2S-5089), A-C Pump / ITT (52-104-969-806) and Centrex (201-491, 201-493). Any 1″ shaft pump built to the US Seal PS-360 / Type 16 footprint.
