    This is a large-bore replacement O-ring for Pentair EQ series commercial pool pumps, measuring 285mm inside diameter by 9.5mm cross section — 11-1/4 in. nominal by .375 in. actual in inch sizing. It is cut and vulcanized from Buna-N 70 durometer cord, which is how rings of this diameter are built, and is supplied as a direct-fit replacement for the original ring. Built to OEM-equivalent standards or higher.

    Why vulcanized

    At this diameter an O-ring is made by cutting Buna cord to length and vulcanizing the ends together, rather than moulding the whole ring in one piece. It is the standard method for large-bore rings and gives you the same sealing cord and the same compression as a moulded ring, at a size no mould produces economically. Fit it clean, lightly lubricated, and seated flat in its groove with no twist.
