Burgmann MG12-G60 Mechanical Sealby Shaft Size, 12mm to 60mm (Vulcan Type 192B)
Item #N/A
The Burgmann MG12-G60 is the long-length elastomer bellows mechanical seal fitted across European-built centrifugal, multistage and inline pumps. Seal House stocks it in ten metric shaft sizes from 12mm to 60mm, every one built silicon carbide against silicon carbide with a Viton (FKM) bellows — the hardest face pairing we offer, and a grade above the carbon/silicon carbide this position is usually supplied with. Each size ships complete with its G60 rubber-boot stationary seat. Cross-references to Vulcan Type 192B, AES B012 and US Seal VGMC-12.

Why the G60 Boot Seat Matters
The MG12 is supplied two ways. The G60 seat sits in a moulded rubber boot; the G6 seat is mounted on an O-ring. Burgmann has been moving to the G6 as its standard supply, which leaves owners of housings cut for the boot seat hunting. Seal House stocks the G60 boot build — if the seat you pulled out had a rubber surround rather than a loose O-ring, this is the one you want. Not sure which you have? Text us a photo.
