Bronze Shaft Sleeve — 1 in. ID x 1-1/4 in. OD (Paco 05008976B / Berkeley S19310L Size)

This bronze shaft sleeve fits centrifugal pumps with a 1 in. shaft and takes a 1-1/4 in. mechanical seal or packing. Choose your length from the dropdown: 2-1/4 in., 3-1/2 in. or 4 in. It is precision machined from bronze, so it resists corrosion in water service. It is a plain straight sleeve with no shoulders, keyways or threads.

Why replace the shaft sleeve

The seal or packing runs on the sleeve, not the shaft. Once the sleeve is scored or pitted, even a new seal can leak, and worn packing keeps cutting deeper. A new sleeve at every seal change protects the shaft and gives the seal a true surface to run on.
