Mechanical Seal 3867 — Type 166 / T-16 (5/8″) | PS-3867

Equal to industry standard 3867 / PS-3867.
Direct-fit Type 166 / T-16 single-spring seal for pool/spa and small-pump applications—upgraded with Viton (FKM) elastomers and a machined carbon/ceramic face set for longer service life.

Fits: Hayward Max-Flo II® and Max-Flo VS (SPX1250XZ2), Pentair SuperFlo® and SuperFlo VS (354545S), Pentair / Pac-Fab Challenger®, Dynamo®, Dynatron® and Pinnacle®, Sta-Rite Dura-Glas® and Max-E-Glas® Series PE, PEA, P2R and P2RA, plus Speck, Waterway, Jacuzzi, Astral Pool and Doughboy pool and spa pumps. Pentair SuperFlo VST, the original Hayward Max-Flo (SP2800X) and Dura-Glas II / Max-E-Glas II take the PS-201; pre-1998 Dura-Glas takes the PS-100.

Same seal, same size, same fit — what changes is the material and how it’s built. All five seals below are the PS-200 for a 5/8″ shaft, and all five fit the same pumps. They differ in two ways. The build: a molded carbon face or a premium carbon face machined from solid stock. The materials: a ceramic or silicon carbide seat, and Nitrile or Viton rubber. Pick the one that suits your water.
