Goulds 4K66 Shaft Sleeve — 3656 / 3756 S-Group

The Goulds 4K66 shaft sleeve is a precision-machined 316 stainless steel sleeve for Goulds 3656 and 3756 S-Group end suction pumps with the 1-1/4 in. seal. It slides over the pump shaft so the mechanical seal runs on the sleeve instead of the shaft, and gives the seal a corrosion-resistant, replaceable running surface. It measures 1.000 in. ID x 1.250 in. OD x 1.500 in. long. Built to OEM-equivalent standards or higher.

Why replace the sleeve with the seal

The seal runs directly on the 4K66 sleeve. Once the sleeve is scored or pitted, even a new seal can leak. Goulds puts a new 4K66 in its own 3656 S-Group seal kit for that reason, so fit a fresh sleeve every time you change the seal.
