    Stokes Mechanical Shaft Seal — Models 148, 149-20, 212J

    Direct-fit aftermarket mechanical shaft seals for Stokes rotary piston / vacuum pump applications. Each seal is engineered to match critical dimensions of the original Stokes assembly for reliable sealing performance in demanding vacuum service.     • 33.3mm shaft size

    • 57mm seat diameter

    • Carbon face / stainless

    • Buna (NBR) elastomers for general-purpose oil service

    • Full rubber bellows rotary design (OEM-style concept)

    • Install note: add a flat washer (up to 1/8″) behind the rotary to optimize working length/compression

    Stokes Model 212J

    • 46mm shaft size (“special” variant)

    • Carbon face / stainless

    • Viton (FKM) elastomers for higher-temp / chemical-resistant service

    • Supplied with dual wave-type springs
