The Seal House KSB 33mm mechanical seal is a direct-fit replacement for the KSB SU 033 Special, cross-referenced to KSB 27544001 and equal to US Seal VGM-1433L. Type T-197, built to OEM-equivalent standards or higher.

Fits

KSB submersible pumps and Amamix submersible motor driven mixers running the 33mm shaft seal, including the Amamix C 3736/48 UDG.

Built for submerged duty

An Amamix runs continuously underwater in a basin, and the seal is the only thing between the wastewater and the motor. Grit, rag and long unattended run hours are the normal condition rather than the exception, so the faces have to hold up without attention between service intervals — and when they don’t, the failure is a motor, not a seal.
