    The Armstrong VMS 20mm mechanical seal is a Type 192S (T-192S) replacement for Armstrong 4700 Series VMS vertical multistage pumps, built with silicon carbide faces on both sides and Viton elastomers. Mechanical seal only — the metal seal, housing and lock collar are not supplied.

    Will this replace the seal in my pump?

    The 20mm 192S position is built in more than one style. You may pull out an all-metal seal, or a single-spring pusher-style seal, rather than the elastomer bellows seal shown here. All of them are built to the same working length, so this seal drops into the same chamber and sets to the same height. The elastomer bellows build on this page is the most common version of this seal and the one we stock.
