The HOMA AK848-380/19.7 repair kit is a direct-fit rebuild kit for the HOMA AK848-380/19.7 submersible pump with the AM243.23F/C/8/3-3 motor — 55 mm upper and lower mechanical seals in silicon carbide with Viton elastomers, supplied with the complete Buna-N O-ring set. Built to OEM-equivalent standards or higher.

Applications

The AK848-380/19.7 is a HOMA A-Series submersible sewage pump, and the seal pair is what decides how long the rebuild lasts. Silicon carbide running against silicon carbide is the face combination for wastewater carrying grit — it takes the abrasive load that grooves a carbon face inside a season, which is why HOMA specifies SiC on both sides as standard. Viton elastomers cover the temperature and chemical range of municipal and industrial sump duty. Every O-ring needed for reassembly ships in the kit, so the pump closes back up in one pass instead of waiting on a second order.

Fits: HOMA AK848-380/19.7 pump, AM243.23F/C/8/3-3 motor.
