Scot 118.000.344 Repair Kit — JM-Frame Pump Seal Kit
The Scot 118.000.344 repair kit is a direct-fit replacement pump seal kit for Scot JM-frame close-coupled pumps. This is the kit that covers the broad middle of the Scot line — Motorpump 50, 52, 53, 54, 55, 65 and 81 across JM145 through JM215 frames — replacing the seal and every wear part around it to restore performance and stop leaks. Built to OEM-equivalent standards or higher.
What’s included
-
Mechanical seal
-
Shaft sleeve
-
Gasket & O-rings
-
Five stainless steel hard parts for long-lasting, corrosion-resistant service
-
P-80 Emulsion Rubber Lubricant
Applications:
Scot JM-frame close-coupled pumps run across commercial and institutional plant rooms — hot and chilled water circulation, heating and cooling loops, domestic water boosting, condenser water and general water transfer. The 118.000.344 is the service kit for the standard seal arrangement used across most of that range.
-
JM-frame pumps: JM145–JM215 frames
-
Compatible motor sizes: 50, 52, 53, 54, 55, 65, 81
Note: Motorpump 57 and 57E use a different seal arrangement and take the 118.000.383 kit instead. Match by frame and motor size, and enter your nameplate details at checkout so we can verify the correct kit.
Three kits available
Same kit, same fit — the difference is the seal material inside. Choose your build from the dropdown above.
-
Standard – Carbon/Ceramic/Nitrile — ordinary hot water and chilled water systems
-
Upgrade – Carbon/Ceramic/Viton — hotter systems, glycol and chemicals
-
Upgrade – Silicon Carbide/Viton — gritty water and hard-wearing duty
Which kit do I need?
Most Scot JM-frame pumps take the Standard Kit. Step up to an Upgrade Kit if your system runs hotter, carries glycol or chemicals, or handles gritty water.
Kit Max °F Choose This If Standard – Carbon/Ceramic/Nitrile 200°F Clean water at neutral pH — ordinary HVAC, booster and general water service. This is the standard build and matches the original kit. Upgrade – Carbon/Ceramic/Viton 450°F Your system runs hot, or carries glycol, bleach or other chemicals that break down standard Nitrile. Upgrade – Silicon Carbide/Viton 450°F Gritty or dirty water, process water, or any duty where seals keep wearing out early. Hardest faces we offer. Still not sure? Text a photo of your pump nameplate to 561-414-1046 and tell us what the system runs — we’ll tell you which build to order. No purchase required.

Scot 118.000.383 Repair Kit — Motorpump 57 / 57E
Scot 118.000.383 Repair Kit — Motorpump 57 / 57E
Item #N/A
Scot 118.000.383 Repair Kit — Motorpump 57 Seal Kit
The Scot 118.000.383 repair kit is the service kit for Scot Motorpump 57 and 57E. These models use a 1-1/2? Type 21 seal arrangement rather than the standard arrangement found across the rest of the JM-frame line, so they take this kit and not the 118.000.344. Supplied complete, and built to OEM-equivalent standards or higher.
What’s included:
-
Mechanical seal
-
Shaft sleeve
-
Gasket & O-rings
-
Five stainless steel hard parts for corrosion-resistant durability
-
P-80 Emulsion Rubber Lubricant
Applications:
The Motorpump 57 and 57E are the higher-duty end of the Scot JM-frame line, run at 1150, 1750 and 3500 RPM in commercial heating and chilled water circulation, domestic water boosting and process water service. Faster shaft speeds and longer duty cycles are hard on a seal, which is what makes the material choice below worth a moment’s thought on this model in particular.
The Scot 118.000.383 repair kit fits the 1-1/2? Type 21 seal on Motorpump 57 and 57E.
-
Motorpump 57 — 1150, 1750 and 3500 RPM
-
Motorpump 57E — 1750 RPM
-
Frames: JM145 through JM215
Note: Every other Motorpump size in this frame range — 50, 52, 53, 54, 55, 65 and 81 — uses a different seal arrangement and takes the 118.000.344 kit instead. Verify your pump nameplate, motor and frame at checkout so we can confirm the correct kit.
