Applications

The HOMA GRP19/3 is a 2 HP submersible grinder pump from the Barracuda series, used on pressure sewer and low-pressure collection systems where solids have to be cut before they are pumped. Grinder duty is hard on seals — the cutter loads the shaft and the fluid carries whatever went down the line — so the seal and the lip seal behind it are the two parts that decide how long the rebuild holds. This assembly is a direct-fit aftermarket replacement, supplied with the 20 x 35 x 7 lip seal so the shaft is sealed properly on reassembly rather than reusing a hardened one.
