The Smith & Loveless 3″ mechanical seal is a direct-fit replacement seal for Smith & Loveless pumps running a 3″ shaft — choose single or double from the dropdown and you’ll get the right seal for your pump. Built to OEM-equivalent standards or higher for the same fit and reliability as the original.

This size is offered in our CRO style — the OEM-style equivalent to Durametallic CRO design. The single replaces H87A534; the double replaces H60A121 (VG-7532).

Please note: this is the mechanical seal only. O-rings, shaft sleeves, and pump-side hardware are not included. (The double uses the gland plate #251 O-ring, which is not supplied.)

Single vs Double — Which Do I Need? T

The difference is how many sealing points the pump uses. A single seal has one set of sealing faces — the standard setup on many Smith & Loveless pumps. A double seal has two sets of faces for a second barrier in tougher or continuous-duty service.
