The Ebara DML Series mechanical seal is a direct-fit double seal set (upper + lower) for stepped-shaft Ebara submersible pumps — DML, and DMLEU — in 30/35 mm, 40/45 mm and 45/50 mm, covering 3 through 30 HP. Built to OEM-equivalent standards or higher.

Applications

DML Series pumps are submersible non-clog sewage and wastewater pumps running both seals in an oil-filled chamber. They are found in municipal lift stations and wastewater treatment plants, commercial and institutional sewage ejection, industrial sump and effluent transfer, and process and agricultural wastewater — solids-bearing water where the lower seal faces abrasives continuously.

Reading your nameplate

Ebara model numbers carry the rating in the number itself. On 100DMLEU6152: the first digit is the frequency (6 = 60 Hz), the next two are the rated kW (15 = 15 kW, 20 HP), the last is the voltage code (2 = 208/230 V, 4 = 460 V, 5 = 575 V). Read the middle two digits, find them in the kW column above, and that is your seal.
