The EMS434-210/10.2A/C is a HOMA submersible wastewater pump, and the upper and lower seal pair is what keeps the motor dry once the pump is back in the wet well. Silicon carbide running against silicon carbide is the face combination for water carrying grit — it takes the abrasive load that grooves a carbon face, which is why HOMA specifies SiC on both sides as standard. Viton elastomers cover the temperature and chemical range of municipal and industrial duty. The seals in this kit are the HOMA special design, not a standard-seat seal. Built to OEM-equivalent standards or higher.
