Gorman Rupp 12364A / VG-7079 Mechanical Seal — 1-1/2″

Direct-fit 1-1/2″ Gorman Rupp 12364A mechanical seal for Gorman Rupp Super T Series self-priming centrifugal pumps, available in two builds: with sleeve and without sleeve. A common replacement for VG-7079, this seal also cross-references Gorman Rupp 46512-047 and fits T-Series models including T3, T4, and T6 (3″, 4″, and 6″ trash pumps). Pre-built Type 11 cup-mount component seal in a hard-face Silicon Carbide / Silicon Carbide build, sized for a 1-1/2″ shaft and supplied with shims and O-rings for a clean rebuild. Commonly used on T-Series pump models including T4A3S-B (verify by nameplate/build sheet).

Please note: This is our aftermarket-engineered version of the OEM seal, featuring Silicon Carbide faces, a cup-style stationary seat, and a modified rotary assembly. These changes lower operating temperature, reduce face loading, and expand the effective sealing surface — collectively improving wear resistance and extending seal life.
