Scot 118.000.383 Repair Kit — Motorpump 57 Seal Kit
The Scot 118.000.383 repair kit is the service kit for Scot Motorpump 57 and 57E. These models use a 1-1/2? Type 21 seal arrangement rather than the standard arrangement found across the rest of the JM-frame line, so they take this kit and not the 118.000.344. Supplied complete, and built to OEM-equivalent standards or higher.
What’s included:
Applications:
The Motorpump 57 and 57E are the higher-duty end of the Scot JM-frame line, run at 1150, 1750 and 3500 RPM in commercial heating and chilled water circulation, domestic water boosting and process water service. Faster shaft speeds and longer duty cycles are hard on a seal, which is what makes the material choice below worth a moment’s thought on this model in particular.
The Scot 118.000.383 repair kit fits the 1-1/2? Type 21 seal on Motorpump 57 and 57E.
Note: Every other Motorpump size in this frame range — 50, 52, 53, 54, 55, 65 and 81 — uses a different seal arrangement and takes the 118.000.344 kit instead. Verify your pump nameplate, motor and frame at checkout so we can confirm the correct kit.
Three kits available
Same kit, same fit — the difference is the seal material inside. Choose your build from the dropdown above.
-
Standard – Carbon/Ceramic/Nitrile — ordinary hot water and chilled water systems
-
Upgrade – Carbon/Ceramic/Viton — hotter systems, glycol and chemicals
-
Upgrade – Silicon Carbide/Viton — gritty water and hard-wearing duty
Which kit do I need?
Most Motorpump 57 installations take the Standard Kit. Step up to an Upgrade Kit if your system runs hotter, carries glycol or chemicals, handles gritty water, or the pump runs at 3500 RPM on a long duty cycle.

Max °F |
Choose This If |

| Upgrade – Carbon/Ceramic/Viton |
450°F |
Your system runs hot, or carries glycol, bleach or other chemicals that break down standard Nitrile. |
| Upgrade – Silicon Carbide/Viton |
450°F |
Gritty or dirty water, process water, or any duty where seals keep wearing out early. Hardest faces we offer. |
