The B45 is a self-priming centrifugal working construction dewatering, wellpoint systems, bypass and general water transfer — liquid carrying grit and silt, pumped continuously, often unattended for long stretches. Silicon carbide against silicon carbide is the hard-face pairing that resists that abrasion, runs cooler under marginal lubrication, and tolerates the brief dry-running that comes with a falling water table.

The Viton (FKM) elastomers hold up against the heat and the fuels, oils and treatment chemistry that come with the same work.
