Flygt Plug-In 35mm Seal Kit — Double Cartridge Mechanical Seal

The Flygt plug-in 35mm seal kit is a replacement pre-assembled double cartridge mechanical seal for Flygt/Xylem submersible pumps built on a 35mm shaft. The plug-in design holds the motor-side and liquid-side seals in a single aligned unit, which shortens rebuild time and delivers repeatable sealing performance compared with fitting loose component seals.

Housing spring note: The “long spring” is a housing retention spring used to help hold the plug-in components and pump housing together. It is not part of the mechanical seal cartridge. This spring is included in the factory/OEM O-ring kit.

The Flygt 2670 is a 2600-series submersible dewatering pump used on construction sites, in mines and for draining flooded areas where the liquid carries abrasive particles, and is also available in MSHA-approved versions for underground mining. The Flygt 3153 is an N-technology submersible pump for clean water, surface water and wastewater containing solids or long-fibered material, with a chopper version for heavily contaminated sewage and sludge. The Flygt 5100 is an abrasion-resistant submersible slurry pump for sand, gravel, grit and ash duty. All of these share the 35 mm plug-in cartridge seal covered by this kit.

Important: the Flygt 5100 is built on three different shaft sizes. This 35 mm kit fits the 5100.210, .211, .220 and .221. If you have a 5100.250, .251, .260 or .261 you need our Flygt Plug-In 45 mm Seal Kit, and for the 5100.300 or .310 you need the Flygt Plug-In 60 mm Seal Kit.

  Includes the pre-assembled double mechanical seal cartridge (motor-side and liquid-side seals in one unit).

• Cartridge mechanical seal + O-ring kit
  Includes the cartridge mechanical seal + OEM O-ring kit. Recommended for a full rebuild.

• Cartridge mechanical seal + O-ring kit + Long spring (bearing housing / volute)
  Includes the cartridge mechanical seal + OEM O-ring kit with the long spring for bearing housing / volute (contained in the OEM O-ring kit).

• Cartridge mechanical seal + O-ring kit + basic repair hardware kit 
  Includes the cartridge mechanical seal + OEM O-ring kit + basic repair hardware kit (snap rings + wave washer). Recommended if your retaining rings/washer are damaged during removal, missing during rebuild, or you want a more complete refresh.

• Cartridge mechanical seal + O-ring kit + basic repair hardware kit + Long spring (bearing housing / volute)
  Includes the cartridge mechanical seal + OEM O-ring kit + basic repair hardware kit (snap rings + wave washer) with the long spring for bearing housing / volute (contained in the OEM O-ring kit). Recommended if your retaining rings/washer are damaged during removal or missing during rebuild, and your build requires the long spring.
