Taco 953-1549-6BRP Seal Kit — Type E Mechanical Seal Set (6BRP)

The Taco 953-1549-6BRP seal kit is a direct-fit replacement for select Taco centrifugal pumps using the Type E / E-Design mechanical seal arrangement. This complete pump seal kit helps simplify service or rebuilds by replacing common wear components and restoring a reliable seal to help prevent leaks in HVAC/hydronic hot and chilled water circulation applications.

• Standard – Carbon/Ceramic/Nitrile — ordinary hot water and chilled water systems

• Upgrade – Carbon/Ceramic/Viton — hotter systems, glycol and chemicals

• Upgrade – Silicon Carbide/Viton — gritty water and hard-wearing duty

Which kit do I need?

Most HVAC and hydronic circulation systems take the Standard Kit. Step up to an Upgrade Kit if your system runs hotter, carries glycol or chemicals, or handles gritty water.
