• Mechanical seal —PS-4240 (Goulds 10K10), 5/8″ Type 166, machined carbon face for salt and heavy-use service

• Diaphragm gasket — 5K256 / 5K522, reinforced neoprene

• Spacer ring — 5K231 (guide-vane seal ring, replaces 5K6 / 5K555)

About the Irri-Gator GT

The GT is Goulds’ end suction, single stage, self-priming centrifugal for lawn sprinkling, HVAC and general water transfer — cast iron casing, enclosed glass-filled Noryl impeller threaded directly onto the motor shaft, 3500 RPM. The mechanical seal, diaphragm and guidevane seal ring are the three parts that wear, and they come apart together, so they are worth replacing as a set rather than one at a time.
