This kit bundles three wear parts for Berkeley ZP series single-stage centrifugal pump seal service into one package: mechanical seal, shaft sleeve, and volute gasket. Manufactured to OEM-equivalent standards or higher for a complete, correct reseal.

What’s Included

• Mechanical seal —PS-185, 1-1/4″ Type 21 (Berkeley S32014), carbon/ceramic

• Shaft sleeve —Berkeley S19310 / S19310L, stainless steel, includes the S11207 retaining ring

• Housing gasket —Berkeley S05126, vegetable fibre, 9-1/8″ ID, 8-hole 

Applications

Built for the Berkeley Type B single-stage centrifugal pump seal service, 1-1/4″ seal size — ZPLS, ZPHS, ZPMS and WPS series close-coupled pumps — B1WPS, B1-1/2ZPLS, B1-1/2ZPHS, B2ZPLS, B2-1/2ZPLS, B2-1/2ZPMS, B3ZPMS and B6ZPLS. Also supplied for Berkeley assembly B-54646 (B1-1/2ZPLS). Everything you need to reseal the wet end in one kit, instead of sourcing three parts separately.

B1-1/2ZPLS — 184JM to 215JM
B1-1/2ZPHS — 182JM to 215JM
B2ZPLS — 213JM to 215JM
B2-1/2ZPLS — 215JM
B2-1/2ZPMS — 145JM to 215JM
B3ZPMS — 184JM to 215JM
B6ZPLS — 215JM

Check your motor frame. This kit fits 143JM through 215JM frames, which use the 1-1/4″ seal. Pumps on 254JM frames and larger use a 1-3/4″ seal and a different kit — the model number alone will not tell you which you have.

Important Note: TP-series models (TPLS, TPMS, TPKS, TPHS) use this same seal and sleeve but a different volute gasket (S04757) — see our Berkeley TP Series Repair Kit. Larger Type B pumps require a 1-3/4″ seal size.
