    The Flygt C 3140 is a mid-size submersible C-pump built around the Flygt Nevaclog impeller, whose open channel design lets stringy solids pass instead of collecting on the vane. It handles municipal and industrial wastewater, sewage, lift-station duty, drainage and raw water transfer. Motor ratings run roughly 8.8 to 9 kW (P2), with 100 mm, 150 mm and 250 mm discharge options. A D 3140 drainage version is also in service and uses the same sealing components.

    Both builds are covered by Flygt basic repair kit 601 89 31, which uses the same seals, O-ring kit and wear protector supplied here.

    Prefixes and codes on the nameplate: CP (semi-permanent wet well on twin guide bars), CS (free-standing transportable with pipe or hose connections), CT (vertically mounted permanent, flanged) and CZ (horizontally mounted permanent, flanged). Head classes are LT (low head), MT (medium head) and HT (high head), followed by an impeller curve code — commonly 452 or 454 on 100 mm discharge, 432, 434 or 436 on 150 mm, and 610, 612 or 614 on 250 mm.

    Direct-fit aftermarket repair kit for the Flygt 3152 series. It replaces the primary sealing components serviced during routine maintenance and full rebuilds, restoring leak-free operation and cutting downtime. Flygt built the 3152 in several configurations, but they all share the same mechanical seals and O-ring set — so this one kit covers the whole 3152 family, from the .090 through the .350 chopper build.

    Why this kit:

    Drop-in assembly. Because the seal arrives already mounted and aligned on its flange, you avoid the alignment errors that cause premature failure on a field-assembled double seal.

    Hard TC/TC faces on both stages. Tungsten carbide against tungsten carbide gives excellent wear resistance in abrasive service and handles the heat generated at the higher surface speeds these large pumps run.

    Viton (FKM) elastomers. Higher temperature capability and better chemical resistance than standard nitrile, which matters in industrial wastewater and where the pumped liquid carries aggressive chemistry.

    Stainless flange. Strength and corrosion resistance, with precise seal seating.

    Housing spring note: The “long spring” is a housing retention spring used to help hold the plug-in components and pump housing together. It is not part of the mechanical seal cartridge. This spring is included in the factory/OEM O-ring kit.

The Flygt 3153 is an N-technology submersible pump for clean water, surface water and wastewater containing solids or long-fibered material, with a chopper version for heavily contaminated sewage and sludge. The Flygt 5100 is an abrasion-resistant submersible slurry pump for sand, gravel, grit and ash duty. All of these share the 35 mm plug-in cartridge seal covered by this kit.

    Important: the Flygt 5100 is built on three different shaft sizes. This 35 mm kit fits the 5100.210, .211, .220 and .221. If you have a 5100.250, .251, .260 or .261 you need our Flygt Plug-In 45 mm Seal Kit, and for the 5100.300 or .310 you need the Flygt Plug-In 60 mm Seal Kit.

    The Flygt plug-in 45mm seal kit is a replacement pre-assembled double cartridge mechanical seal for Flygt/Xylem submersible pumps and mixers built on a 45mm shaft. The plug-in design holds the motor-side and liquid-side seals in a single aligned unit, which shortens rebuild time and delivers repeatable sealing performance compared with fitting loose component seals.

    Housing spring note: The “long spring” is a housing retention spring used to help hold the plug-in components / pump housing together. It is not part of the mechanical seal cartridge. This spring is included in the factory/OEM O-ring kit.

    Important: the Flygt 5100 is built on two different shaft sizes. This 45 mm kit fits the 5100.250, .251, .260 and .261. If you have a 5100.300 or 5100.310, you need our Flygt Plug-In 60 mm Seal Kit instead.

    • Cartridge mechanical seal + O-ring kit + Long spring (bearing housing / volute)
      Includes the cartridge mechanical seal + OEM O-ring kit with the long spring for bearing housing / volute (contained in the OEM O-ring kit).
